January’s nearly over and most peoples’ New Year’s resolutions are broken. But I have good news! There’s another chance to begin anew. It’s today! And I know most people would say, “I’ll start again Monday”. Thursday is a great day to begin anew. Do you know why? It’s because today is Thursday.
Each day, God gives His children the opportunity to start over. What happened yesterday is washed away. Failed New Year’s resolutions are forgiven. And each day is a new day.
And if today is a day you’ve been dreading, if today turns out to be a very rough day, I’ve got good news. When today is over, tomorrow will be another chance to begin anew. The pain and mistakes of today will be in yesterday.
