Not a minute too soon

The exterminator is coming tomorrow.  When I heard that the other day I didn’t think much of it.  Today, I’m wishing it was today.  Diane found some ants on the floor next to the couch.  After investigating further, they’re pretty heavy in the corner of the living room.  I sprayed some home defender spray, but I’ll be glad when the exterminator comes tomorrow.  It won’t be a minute too soon.  While not perfect, it’s pretty good timing.  And as the old saying goes, timing is everything.

I think about time a lot.  We have time constraints and we have times gone by.  When time is past for us, it is passed.  Most of the time we don’t think about time being an earthly occurrence.  God created time and knows how much time we have, yet God is not bound by time.  I cannot comprehend it, but God has no time restrictions.  God never misses an opportunity.  God is never late and never early.  He can’t be, because He is not bound by time.

On earth we have a limited amount of time.  In eternity, we will enter God’s timeless and unlimited time, which is how heaven and hell will last forever.  Worldly time will be no more.

I don’t know if you can comprehend this any better than me, but rest assured that God is never late, but He’s also never early.  If you’re waiting on God, know that He has actually been waiting on you.  And if that doesn’t blow your mind….
