Not how bad you are, but how good God is

As I reflect on the Baccalaureate message that I posted on here yesterday and gave at Frankfort High School on Sunday and have heard from some seniors directly and indirectly (with mixed reviews), I wish I would have been more direct with one more thought.

I think I inferred it, but I wish I would have said that the importance of this life is not about how bad you and I are, but how good God is.  All the mistakes we made and continue to make don’t really hold a candle to God’s grace and forgiveness if we will just turn to Him, ask for it, and accept it.
