A story of transformation – a work in progress

Today is our last day of physical labor on our mission trip to Oklahoma. I pray that many stories of transformation come from this week. We’ve definitely seen a roof transformed. We’ve put trim up to prepare the way for siding. Today we will continue to work on a foundation.

And all the while that the 11 (counting Steve, our site supervisor) of us have been working, God has been continuing His work on and in us. His work on and in us is often the thing we miss. We focus on what we’re doing or the good or bad times we’re going through, and we don’t always realize that we are being transformed – molded and re-molded, by the Potter.

And like the homes we’ve been working on this week, we too are a work in progress.
