This morning I saw that a parent had written that they were seeing their college freshman’s texts on their own phone. They were asking for help on how to keep from seeing them. There was a setting in their phone that they had to adjust.
It reminds me that we can hide things from others, but cannot hide things from God. As a general rule of thumb, if there are things you’re doing or things you’re texting or looking at on the internet, and they are things you don’t want others to see or know you’re doing, that’s a sign that you shouldn’t be doing it.
And just because you’re able to hide it from others, you’re not hiding it from your Father.
